In order to promote initiatives for improved sustainability based on the Basic Sustainability Policy of the KING JIM Group, we have appointed an executive in charge of sustainability and established an organization spanning various departments called the Sustainability Committee.
The Sustainability Committee is made up of an officer in charge of sustainability, who acts as the head of the promotion members, executives in charge of relevant departments, who act as promotion members, participating members from relevant departments, who act as execution members, and the sustainability promotion section of Corporate Planning Department, who acts as secretariat.
The committee plans sustainability policies and actions and links with departments and group companies to promote improved sustainability.
Items considered and decided by the committee are debated in advance at management conference, where necessary, and brought up and reported at Board of Directors meetings.
