Collecting “TEPRA” PRO Tape Cartridges *In Japan only

Since 1998, KING JIM has been collecting used “TEPRA” tape cartridges and recycling and reusing them in order to protect the environment.

Collection Flow

Approximately 76% of collected “TEPRA” PRO tape cartridges and braille tape cartridges are recycled or reused and given life as new products.

The tape cartridge’s case is pulverized and the material is recycled for use in making new cases. Some parts are cleaned and inspected before being reused; they are assembled with new tape cartridge and case to become new products on store shelves. Other parts undergo resource recovery and are used effectively as resources.

Collection Method

The products eligible for collection are “TEPRA” PRO tape cartridges and braille tape cartridges. Please bring your used “TEPRA” tape cartridges to the nearest store equipped with a cartridge collection box. *In Japan only

Used cartridges have ink ribbons in them which have been used for printing. If required, please do away with the ink ribbon yourself before dropping off the cartridge for collection.。
