Product Safety

Considerations toward product safety and ease of use

KING JIM conducts tests of product usability, safety, and reliability to ensure that customers can use our products with confidence.

We design our products in compliance with Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS), the Electrical Appliances and Material Safety Law, VCCI*1, Radio Law, RoHS Directive*2, and other regulations. We strive to create products that customers can use with confidence based on King Jim's "Design Specification Standards Document," outlining the quality requirements that products must meet.

Even after products are launched, we conduct sampling inspections by JIS on products shipped from factories and manufacturers, as well as 100% inspections as required, to verify that the level of quality desired by King Jim is maintained.

In the event of a serious problem involving a customer or the market, such as an accident or complaint, we will identify the situation, frequency, and extent of damage caused by the problem. We will establish a reporting system by setting up an internal response team and promptly recalling the product if necessary.
