KING JIM Group Human Rights Policy
Acknowledging the potential of our business activities to have direct and indirect impacts on human rights and committed to respecting the human rights of all people involved in those activities, the KING JIM Group has established the KING JIM Group Human Rights Policy (hereinafter “this Policy”) and shall pursue human rights initiatives accordingly.
Basic Approach
In accordance with the United Nations’ Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the KING JIM Group shall uphold the International Bill of Human Rights, the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, and other international norms defining the fundamental human rights of all people.
We shall also adhere to the laws and regulations of the countries and regions in which we do business. In the unlikely event that a law or regulation of a certain country or region is inconsistent with international human rights norms, we shall endeavor to respect internationally-recognized human rights as much as possible.
Scope of Application
This Policy applies to all officers and employees of the KING JIM Group. We shall also require an understanding of this Policy from all business associates involved in the KING JIM Group’s business activities, products, and services.
Implementation of Human Rights Due Diligence
In accordance with the processes prescribed in the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, we shall build a framework for human rights due diligence and strive to prevent and mitigate negative impacts on human rights.
Remedial and Corrective Action
In the event that our business activities are found to have caused or exacerbated a negative impact on human rights, we shall strive to remedy that impact through appropriate means.
Implementation of Education and Dialogue on Respecting Human Rights
We shall implement informative activities and appropriate education to ensure that this Policy is understood and carried out by all officers and employees of the KING JIM Group. We shall also engage in dialogue with stakeholders with regard to negative impacts on human rights, incorporating the advice of experts.
Material Issues and Initiatives relating to Human Rights
Based on this Policy, we shall identify material issues relating to human rights, and respond to those issues appropriately. We shall also conduct reviews of the material issues as required in response to changes in society and the business environment.

We shall disclose progress and outcomes of our human rights initiatives through our website and other means.
Material Issues Related to Human Rights
・Prohibition on Discrimination
We shall not tolerate any form of discrimination on grounds such as nationality, race, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, sexual preference, age, religion, political views, or ability.
・Harassment Prevention
We shall not tolerate power harassment, sexual harassment, or any other conduct regardless of the name by which it is called, that involves, in a workplace setting, insulting attitudes toward other employees, harassment, verbal or physical violence, and other acts that may harm others physically or mentally, in addition to actions such as those above that indirectly bring about disadvantageous working conditions for other employees or may worsen the workplace environment.
・Prohibition on Forced Labor and Child Labor
In accordance with laws and regulations, we shall not tolerate forced labor, child labor, or any other improper labor practices in any business activities.
・Management of Work Hours and Wages
We shall comply with all laws and regulations related to working hours and wages that apply in the countries and regions in which we do business.
・Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining Rights
We shall respect the laws and regulations of each country and region pertaining to freedom of association and collective bargaining rights, and shall promote healthy industrial relations and dialogue between labor and management.
・Labor Health and Safety
We shall strive to create a working environment in which employees can continue to work in safety, sound hygiene and good health.
