DEVELOPING ORIGINAL PRODUCTS AND CREATING A NEW CULTURE
TO CONTRIBUTE TO SOCIETY

First, allow me to express my heartfelt appreciation for the continued understanding and patronage you have granted to the business of the KING JIM Group.

Based on our corporate message of “Surprise, Comfort, Work and Life,” we aim to create new value and make a contribution to society by providing surprises and comfort not only in the workplace, which has been the core of our business to date, but also in people’s daily lives.

In the fiscal year ended June 20, 2023, in the stationery and office supply business, we expanded the lineup of TEPRA models for smartphones and functional files, and also developed and launched products that meet the needs of society. In the interior lifestyle business, we posted strong sales of furniture, centered on storage products, decoration-related artificial flowers, and summer products such as portable fans.
Meanwhile, despite signs of improvement due in part to price revisions taking hold, the situation remains harsh due to the increase in the cost of sales ratio caused by the yen depreciation and consistently high prices of raw materials.

The fiscal year ending June 20, 2024 will be the final year of the 10th Medium-Term Management Plan.
An increasing number of exhibitions and events that had been canceled due to COVID-19 are now being held, and the industry as a whole is regaining its former vibrancy. Based on our policies of “focus on growth fields” and “further strengthen core businesses,” we will further endeavor to make this a year that will propel us toward the KING JIM of the future by continuing to steadily implement the measures set forth in our Medium-Term Management Plan.
