President's Message

The environment surrounding us ison the cusp of a major transformation. With advances in paperless operations,the spread of AI technology, and further, the increasing diversity of values
and lifestyles, the social environment is undergoing arapid change. Amid such changes in the environment, under our managementphilosophy of “Developing original products and creating a new culture to contribute to society,” we view crises as opportunities and strive to offer new value to our customers.
In the fiscal year ended June 20, 2025, under a new management team, we pursued various measures to achieve the targets of the first year of the 11th Medium-Term Management Plan and achieved increases in net sales and income compared with the previous fiscal year.
In the stationery and office supplies business, we rolled out web advertisements for our core TEPRA business and actively undertook initiatives that will lead to the expansion of uses for the tape. Additionally, sales of disaster preparedness and crime prevention products increased significantly due to growing awarenessof these topics in society.
Despite the ongoing impact of the weak yen, the lifestyle products business performed well, thanks to our proactive launch of new products, including summer merchandise and kitchenware.
In the fiscal year ending June 20, 2026, which is the second year of the current Medium-Term Management Plan, we will strive to strengthen our existing businesses around the theme of “Taking
the wave of social change as an opportunity to move toward new growth.” We will also pursue three key strategic policies, namely “expansion into the service business,” “expansion of the lifestyle field,” and “strengthening of theoverseas business.”
