“tette” takes a new approach to health design by rethinking the hand sanitizer dispenser. Until now, they’ve been overly businesslike machines, many hand-operated, and a poor fit for the public spaces and family homes where they’re used. Its simple, familiar design invites us to reach out. No touch is required, so it is completely sanitary. The half-transparent bottle shows how much liquid is left, and the wide opening makes refilling easy. The tray beneath also keeps the surrounding area clean. “tette” is a new style of dispenser, perfectly suited to today. The simple design helps it blend into its surroundings, while the automatic function protects health.

Its appealing and modern shape as well as its function were highly evaluated to be awarded. Regarding its function that is controlled by a sensor, jury admires its hygienic use thanks to contactless sanitizer mechanism. “tette” has now won its fourth design award, following the iF Design Award 2020 (Germany), Good Design Award 2019 (Japan), Merit Award of 2019 Design for Asia Awards (China & Hong Kong). Additionally, TE1000, larger capacity type, is released on November 6th, 2020.

KING JIM Corporation is delighted to be chosen for this award, and will constantly strive to develop products which meet its customers' satisfaction.
