“tette” won the if Design Award 2020
KING JIM Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) is pleased to announce that its hand sanitizer dispenser “tette” TE500, released on February 2019, has won the if Design Award 2020 at product category. This award represents one of the world’s most prestigious design competitions.
“tette” takes a new approach to health design by rethinking the hand sanitizer dispenser. Until now, they’ve been overly businesslike machines, many hand-operated, and a poor fit for the public spaces and family homes where they’re used. Its simple, familiar design invites us to reach out. No touch is required, so it is completely sanitary. The half-transparent bottle shows how much is left, and the wide opening makes refilling easy. The tray beneath also keeps the surrounding area clean. “tette” is a new style of dispenser, perfectly suited to today. The simple design helps it blend into its surroundings, while the automatic function protects health.
Its simple and hygienic as well as functional design were highly evaluated to be awarded. In addition, “tette” won the Good Design Award 2019 (Japan) and Merit Award of 2019 Design for Asia Awards (China & HongKong).
KING JIM Corporation is delighted to be chosen for this award, and will constantly strive to develop products which meet its customers' satisfaction.
